It’s been approximately five years since my last time playing go-kart. Now, I am back behind the wheels again! Five years has been passed, things have changed now (or at least the go-kart and the track have changed. LOL!). This time is at Shah Alam Citykarting Circuit, the circuit which I've never been before.

So on my first outing, I decided to drive the 80cc go-kart with Mr. Musyakir. It’s a bit slow compared to 100cc (I will story more on that later) but it is still fun to drive and allows me to understand the circuit better. Mr. Bukhari chooses to drive the 100cc.
I decided to drive together with Mr. Musyakir (since he is also on 80cc) but later I found it is more interesting to catch Mr. Bukhari with other drivers who are driving faster 100cc go-kart. Sorry Mr. Musyakir for leaving you behind. Hehe.
The circuit is quite challenging although it’s got plenty of straight line. It is vital to know the braking and acceleration point in order to turn into the straight and get better acceleration which allows you to gain more speed on the straight. Some of the corners are tight which requires you to turn the wheel more and you need to have a good control skill on the acceleration and brake pedal in order to fight the oversteer. (I had a spin once on one of the tight corner. Duh!)

Enough talking. Picture please!
Mr. Bukhari had another chance to drive the 100cc together with some of the other driver who are experts about the circuit (they had an experience racing here). After he finishes his outing, it’s already late in the evening and we decided to go back home. Later when we arrive at Resotoran Jejantas Sg. Buloh to pray, Mr. Bukhari realizes that he forgot to take his sandals at the circuit! He plans to take it tomorrow and maybe if we got a chance, we can have another round of racing. :-)

To be continue...
